EcoFlow STREAM Ultra

The EcoFlow STREAM Ultra is a plug and play battery with a built-in 800 W microinverter: 1.92 kWh of LFP storage, expandable to 11.52 kWh with STREAM Max modules, and four MPPT inputs taking up to 2000 W of panels. It replaces the STREAM Pro: for the same price, it has one more MPPT input and takes 500 W more of panels. No building work and no electrician — the panels connect by MC4 and the unit plugs into a domestic socket. From 28 August 2026, Portugal's self-consumption rules (Decreto-Lei 130/2026, amending Decreto-Lei 15/2022) no longer require a registered installer or responsible technician up to 800 W of installed power, and waive DGEG registration as long as no surplus is fed into the grid. It stores the day's solar surplus for the evening and, with AI-TOU in the EcoFlow app, charges during off-peak hours to discharge at peak.
